MLO Reflective Narrative
I was given a basic understanding of Mexican history (SPAN 307), Spanish history (SPAN 316), and an overview of cultures and civilizations of Spanish Latin America (SPAN 306). Each class tested me on the traditions and policies that were associated with their respective cultures. I then got to present on a topic that I chose to research on in each of these classes. Among the most memorable topics we covered were los desaparecidos de Argentina, or the lost children of Argentina, the gods that ruled ancient Mexican civilizations, and the different conquests that left an underrated diversity in Spain.
